Geoffrey passed away peacefully at Epsom Beaumont care home on Sunday 19 April 2020. Much loved husband to Enid (1930 - 2016) and father to Andrew, Louise and Rosanne and proud grandfather to Holly, William, Tom, John and Lucy. He will be forever in our hearts.

Thoughts
Grandpa was more than just my grandpa, he was an amazing role model and friend. I will miss listening to those odd dutch poetry recitals played on radio 3 with him on Christmas day and chatting about Nick Clegg over lunch at Chequers. You will be missed by all of us.

I have so many fond memories of my grandpa to him always buying pastries from Jungs when he would come visit us to the time he drove all the way to us in his slippers! He will be missed greatly xxx

Geoffrey was an amazing man. He knew everyone and everything to do with horseracing, via his posts at the Tote and the RIB. He commanded deep respect. But more importantly he was a lovely man who had a terrific sense of fun and humour. He never changed. I will miss him hugely.
